Rebecca (Becky) Kennelly Haas is a constant advocate for promoting the town that she loves, Richmond, Texas!  She has been a resident of Richmond for 50+ years and a business owner in the Historic Downtown District.

Becky is a proud direct descendant of one of Stephen F. Austin’s first settlers in Texas who are known as the Old 300.  She is Chaplain for and a charter board member of the Descendants of Austin’s Old Three Hundred organization.

Becky is passionate about Texas history, with a keen interest in Richmond history. She is a member of the Fort Bend County Historical Commission, a former member of the Richmond Historical Commission, a member of the Fort Bend County Museum, a board member of the Black Cowboy Museum, member of Historic Richmond Association, and is a Fort Bend Docent.
