Corporal Ruben Robles

August 2026

Beat 14 encompasses 18 businesses and one senior apartment complex located on the west and east side of FM 359, ranging from the 500 block to the 1700 block. Two businesses are located off Mason Road. Currently a new building is being erected which will house International Leadership of Texas – Richmond, which is a charter school.

During the month of August, I met with 3 residents of the apartment complex which is in my beat. I also made contact with a new business in my beat Supertran.

The first resident I met with was Louann Cook who was getting into her vehicle about to leave. Cook stated she was happy to see me patrolling the complex. Cook stated she has spoken to me before, but it has been a while. Cook stated she has not had any issues. I then provided Cook with my business card and told her to contact me if she has any issues or questions since she stated she misplaced the card I had given her before.

The second resident I contacted was Londa Mahon who was walking back from the front office when I contacted her. Mahon stated that we have met before. Mahon stated she did not have any issues. MAHON stated she has been living in the complex for 6 years. I then gave MAHON my business card since she stated she didn’t have one. I told her to contact me if she has any issues or questions.

The third resident I met was Larry Clark who was sitting at the bench near the front office waiting for a ride to work. Clark stated he has been living at his residence since March. Clark stated he did not have any issues. Clark did not seem to really want to talk to me. I gave him my business card and told him to contact me with any issues or questions.

I also contacted Shelby Bower who was in charge at Supertran located at 1207 FM 359. Bower then completed the Business contact form. Bower stated they have been open since February and I told her today was the first time I seen the gates open, so I came to contact them. Bower showed me around the business and showed me the types of custom transformers they make. Bower stated the only issue they had was some people roaming around the property, but they ran them off. I advised her to contact the police if they have any issues. I then provided her with my business card.

Beat Fourteen does not have any register sex offenders.

Goals Accomplished:

This month I accomplished my goal and contacted a new business and had them complete a business contact form.

Goals Next Month:

My goal is to contact more businesses and have them update their business contact information. Another goal is to continue to interact with more younger members of the community to encourage them to call the police when they see something and to show them law enforcement are not bad people.
