November 2025
Beat 11 is known as the “Business District” of Richmond. Beat 11 covers businesses such as USPS, Whataburger, Walmart, and Wharton County Junior College. Beat 11 includes everything west of the BNSF railroad tracks on FM 1640 to Lamar Dr., and businesses in the 1200-1600 block of FM 2218 which includes the businesses of the Richmond Food Mart, Papa John’s Pizza, and China One. Awaam Urgent Care Clinic, and Wall Street Village, a new subdivision, with homes being built at a quick pace, has recently joined Beat 11.
This month I met with Castle, who is a resident of Wall Street Village. Castle said he recently moved to Richmond and has had no complaints. Castle was given my business card and asked me to email or call me if he has any city or police concerns.
I then spoke with a family at The Sanctuary Fellowship Church. They were celebrating a baby shower and had some questions about overnight property checks. I informed them their property is checked frequently and gave the information about how to apply for trespass enforcement.
This month, Walmart theft calls for service were 97% lower than November 2024.
Beat 11 does not have any register sex offenders. To search for registered sex offenders in your area, please visit www.nsopw.gov.
