May 2, 2026, City of Richmond General Election
The next General Election for the City of Richmond, if called, will be Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Early Voting will take place April 20–28, with voting hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The following office will appear on the ballot in the 2026 City of Richmond General Election for a
three-year term:
Mayor (Office currently held by Rebecca K. Haas)

The filing period for a place on the ballot is as follows:
• First Day to File: Wednesday, January 14, 2026
• Last Day to File: Friday, February 13, 2026

Complete Candidate Packets will be available beginning January 14, 2026, for pickup from the City Secretary’s Office or by download.
