(Richmond, Texas)- The City Commission approved Meredith Doggett to Position 5 of the City’s Parks and Recreation Board of Directors and approved Dwanette Jackson to replace Mrs. Doggett’s Alternate B position. These recommendations came from the Interview Committee composed of Commissioners Carl Drozd and Barry Beard.

Richmond Parks and Recreation Board members are Susan Farris- Position 1, Kathy Meadows- Position 2, Robert Hodge- Position 3, Vicky Seely- Position 4, Meredith Doggett- Position 5, Amanda Dockum, Vice-Chair - Position 6, Pat Pittman, Chair- Position 7, David Pella as Alternate A and Dwanette Jackson as Alternate B, effective June 15, 2026.

These appointments reflect the City’s commitment to enhancing quality of life and recreational experiences for all residents.
