The City of Richmond will host the inaugural Live on the Brazos concert on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Wessendorff Park pavilion. This free public event marks the first in a three‑part Summer Concert Series designed to provide residents with accessible, family‑friendly entertainment throughout the season.

The opening concert will feature The Grooves, a well‑known Texas band recognized for their high‑energy performances and wide‑ranging musical repertoire. Their appearance will serve as the official kickoff to the City’s new summer programming initiative.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. The event will include food trucks and select offerings from local Richmond restaurants, highlighting the community’s diverse culinary options.

The Summer Concert Series will continue with additional performances on July 16 and August 6^th, each featuring new artists and musical styles.
