(Richmond, Texas)- Richmond City Commission adopted the 2024 International Building Codes and the 2023 National Electrical Code to reflect the latest advancements in building safety, fire protection, energy efficiency and emerging technologies. Building Codes are updated nationally every three years. Adoption of these updated codes ensures that new construction and development within the city are designed and built to current standards which supports the City’s continued commitment to safety, sustainability, and economic growth.
