(Richmond, Texas)- The Richmond City Commission heard presentation from Pape-Dawson representatives regarding stormwater banking and available water detention capacity in the downtown area to support future growth. An engineering study identified available stormwater capacity after recent drainage improvements in Wessendorff Park and Upper Rabbs Bayou areas.

The City’s consultant recommended creating a stormwater banking system based on the amount of developable land available in the drainage basins to maximize most efficient use of land.
