(Richmond, Texas)- The City Commission approved five board members and two alternate members to the Richmond Historical Commission Board of Directors by recommendation of the Interview Committee composed of Commissioners Barry Beard and Carl Drozd. Richmond Historical Commission Board members are Lonnie Meadows- Position 1, Jackie Atkinson- Position 2, Carol Edwards- Position 3, Payton McGee- Position 4, David Smith- Position 5, Debbie Elder as Alternate A and Vinod Patel as Alternate B, effective January 1, 2026.

These appointments reflect the City’s commitment to preserve and promote Richmond’s historic resources through effective governance and citizen participation on the Richmond Historical Commission.
