As the City continues the Clay/ Second Street Sidewalk and Drainage Project, the intersection of Clay Street and Collins Road will be closed Tuesday, December 2, 2025 through Monday, December 22nd to install the drainage infrastructure necessary to complete this road project. This will be a complete closure. At the same time Clay Street and Jenny Lane will be closed to construct the Round-A-Bout. Detour signage will be in place to direct all traffic around these closures.

For access to George Park or the north of Clay neighborhood, traffic will be directed to take Tenth St. north to Clay, turn left on Clay St. and then north on Center Street. Drivers can then turn on any of the next six streets into the neighborhood to get back over to Collins Road.

Please use caution and drive safely through the neighborhoods and around all road construction. We appreciate your patience while this major sidewalk and drainage road project nears completion.
