(Richmond, Texas)- Richmond City Commission has approved a Professional Services Contract for $100,000 to Burditt Consulting, LLC. to update the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan as well as the Trails Master Plan. These updates will ensure that Richmond’s long-range vision for parks and recreation reflects the community’s evolving needs for the parks and recreation system.

The scope of work includes a comprehensive assessment of existing parks, facilities, programs, and trails, culminating in a five-year action plan. As part of the effort, the City’s Trail Master Plan will be fully integrated into a unified Parks, Recreation, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan.

This project aligns with the City’s Comprehensive Master Plan and demonstrates Richmond’s commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities while preserving the community’s natural amenities for future generations.
