As the City of Richmond enacts phase II of Governor Abbott’s plan to re-open Texas this week, restaurants dine-in guidelines rise to 50% occupancy while bars re-open at 25% occupancy. Daycares and youth clubs may now open and operate under mandated minimum standard protocols set forth by the Governor’s Strike Force to re-open Texas. At the end of May, youth camps and youth sports may resume with procedures in place to put safety first.
Our new normal continues to evolve with social distancing, sanitizing of hands, wearing facial coverings, and not congregating in large numbers. The fight against COVID-19 depends on you to support local business while following the CDC guidelines. Together, we will safely and strategically restart and revitalize our economy while being safe.
