City of Richmond Water Department Recognized for 2019 Outstanding Water System Award from Texas Commission On Environmental Quality
The City’s Water Department was again recognized at this month’s Commission meeting for receiving Outstanding Public Drinking Water System Award from TCEQ, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The City of Richmond’s residents have never needed to worry about the quality of their drinking water as the City has insured the best quality drinking water possible!
For multiple years now Richmond has been recognized for the Outstanding Public Water System Award which recognizes overall excellence in all aspects of operating a public water system. A water system must go above and beyond minimum standards in protecting public health and ensuring reliable operation. Richmond Texas is fortunate to have such dedicated professionals protecting our drinking water system.
