The City of Richmond will host the second in the series of Live on the Brazos concert on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Wessendorff Park gazebo. This date was a Reschedule from July 16th due to excessive rain.  This free public event marks the second in a three‑part Summer Concert Series designed to provide residents with accessible, family‑friendly entertainment throughout the season.

This July concert will feature The Emotions, one of Texas' most seasoned and crowd-pleasing party bands! For more than three decades, they’ve been a staple of the Texas live‑music scene, known for their high‑energy shows, powerhouse vocals, and a seamless blend of genres that keeps audiences on their feet. Join us Thursday, July 23rd, from 6:30–8:30 PM at Wessendorff Park for an evening of great music, local food favorites, and relaxed summer fun under the trees. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends — it’s free and open to everyone.

The event will include food trucks and select offerings from local Richmond restaurants, highlighting the community’s diverse culinary options.

The Summer Concert Series will continue with the final performance on August 6th featuring Southern County Line.
