During the month of January, I, Officer I. Fernandez met with three residents who live in Beat 10. I introduced myself as the new Beat officer to Morgan Stable. Mr. Stable introduced me to his wife, Janet. I asked Mr. Stable if he had any problems, concerns or questions and Mr. Stable stated he did not. I left Mr. Stable with my business card and told him if he had any problems to contact me.
I also met with Mr. John McDougle. Mr. McDougle advised he has been living at the same address for sixteen years. Mr. McDougle stated he works for Lamar CISD as the safety and training coordinator. I asked Mr. McDougle if he had any problems/concerns and he stated he did not. I left a business card with Mr. McDougle and advised him to contact me if any problems arise.
I then went to a local business and introduced myself to Ronnie Paul. Mr. Paul is the clerk at this local business. I asked Mr. Paul if he had any problems, concerns, or questions. He advised that the only problem he has is residents from a nearby apartment complex going to the store smelling like narcotics or being intoxicated. I advised Mr. Paul to give us a call whenever any problems arise or he believes someone is intoxicated. I left my business card with Mr. Paul.
